So when I bought my GVR4 it had one blown rubber brake line(the rear passenger side). I decided since it’s an older car I should just replace all the lines. So I replaced all the rubber lines with stainless lines from JNZ tuning, I also replaced the front pads and rotors.
Here’s where everything got annoying. I went to bleed the lines and got no fluid at the rear, none. I was thinking “maybe it’s just going to take awhile to work all the air out.” so moved one to the fronts. The front passenger side gets fluid but not much, and the pedal doesn’t drop when the bleeder is loosened. And the front driver’s side bleeds just as it should. Any idea’s as to what the hell I did/might have done? Cuz I’m lost

I hate to say this, but did you maybe miss a plug in one of the lines? One of the little plastic ones that they sometimes ship with to keep crap out of the lines. Barring that, check your flares. Make sure one isn’t folded over the hole.

You normally bleed brakes starting with the brake closest to the master cylinder. So the driver’s side front brake.

How are you bleeding the brakes BTW? Do you use a pressure bleeder?

Each car is different but the general rule is to bleed the brake furthest from the master cylinder first. So the rear passenger first.

Oh my god I didn’t even thing of that. It would be weird if they only had them in the rears tho.

the two person manual pump method and we also tried a vacuum pump.

You never know. Pop the lines off and shoot a blast of compressed air through them just to be sure.

And the reason I know is because I’ve done it. Left a plug in the rear calipers.

the order my service manual calls for is RL,FR then the ABS unit for those brakes, then RR, FL and the ABS unit for those brakes.
